South Portland Surgical Center Achieves Prestigious National Advanced Orthopaedic Certification
Tualatin, OR, July 17, 2026 — South Portland Surgical Center is honored to announce that it has been awarded the Advanced Orthopaedic Certification (AOC) from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for Total Joint Replacement and Complex Spine Procedures. The national distinction recognizes excellence in orthopedic surgical care and a commitment to higher level quality expectations set by experts within the field.
Advanced Orthopaedic Certification is only awarded to AAAHC-accredited organizations that meet rigorous standards in clinical practice, ongoing performance improvement strategies, patient outcomes and organizational infrastructure.
